ASB publishes “Financial Reporting of Pensions – Feedback and Rediliberations”

The Accounting Standard Board (ASB – UK Standard setter) has published Financial Reporting of Pensions – Feedback and Rediliberations. The report follows the discussion paper “The Financial Reporting of Pensions”, published in January 2008 and it considers the comments received during the public consultation.
The project has been developed as part of the Pro-active Accounting Activities in Europe (PAAinE) jointly by the ASB, the EFRAG, the German, French and Italian standard setters. The views included in the paper are those of the ASB.
The OIC think that the report is an useful contribution to the debate on the subject but it does not express considerations.
